Evictions – Turning Violent

Most people consider their home as their last remaining refuge from the growing economic crisis. Much so when it comes to evictions that can have several police units converging on otherwise peaceful streets simply to evict a homeowner who has failed to make payments to lenders for his mortgage. The situation turns violent at times, even resulting in death when both parties try to do their jobs as mandated by law. Police are just getting tired of such incidents and are less than willing to participate in them due to the fact that these people might be facing the worst days of their lives and they are the instrument chosen to bring that about. Lawmakers are contemplating the barring of such actions for it often leads to violence simply because the economy hasn’t protected the consumer, namely the homeowner.
